What an honour it was to host a workshop for 12 absolutely lovely ladies, who wanted to learn more about the fundamental design elements they could use to affect real change for their own homes!
The Bairnsdale Library provided such a stylish backdrop after their recent redevelopment, andthe space which had lots of tables, heaps of natural light and gorgeous wood feature wall really set the mood well for our morning of talking all things home styling.
The first half of the event was spent talking about colour, tone and style and how they affect a space. Participants were taught how to 'read 'a room, how to hone in and understand their personal style and were encouraged to put a lot of thinking into their projects.
The morning tea supplied by Little Alice Cafe was just what we needed halfway through the event, and the Jemma Louise cupcakes were especially enjoyed. Thanks Louise (Little Alice Cafe) and at the team for delivering such lovely, personal service for our participants today.
After morning tea it was onto the mood boarding, which many people had really been looking forward to. Paper, scissors and glue were put to work, with people able to leave the event with their own personal mood boards to help them with their projects.
No one wanted to leave at the end, with lots of happy ladies smiling, chatting and creating. Everyone was so helpful to clean up at the end too, so thoughtful and appreciated.
Everyone shared a kind word with me as they left, taking their goodie bags filled with discounts to local and online retailers, their info booklet and of course their mood boards.
Sheryl who attended provided feedback that "Tania ran a fabulous Interior Styling Workshop today. I found out what my style of decorating is and learnt so much about colour design. You are a very talented person. Thank you Tania for the fabulous Interior Styling Workshop. I would recommend people who have an interest in decorating sign up for your next workshop in October". Ah thanks Sheryl for the lovely feedback and endorsement. It was a pleasure to have you.
A special thanks to Merryn of Earth & Sea Creative for helping with the set up and pack up for the event, it was greatly appreciated. Also thanks to Kelly of Albatross Photography and Design for taking a few photos of me in action.
